blind texts at luminale
After a fresh start to the new year, winter is slowly coming to an end and new ideas are spouting, like delicate plants that make their way to the light.
The Luminale, Biennial for Light Art and Urban Design is just around the corner and invites you to deal with new works on the subject of image and text from 12-15 March 2020 in Frankfurt.
The shop windows become a place of communication.
Portrait and letters are pixelated and converted into electrical-mechanical dots on Flipdot displays. Photo sensors take self-portraits and convert them using algorithms.
This results in new monochrome worlds of images, which merge with texts typographically and are amplified by the noise of the flipdots.
For this project “Blind Texts”, creatives were able to contribute for the first time with their drawings to train neural networks. At this point again thank you to all the entries who supported this art project.
